Recording
from
compact
discs
For SC-EH556
This
function
makes
it
easier
for
you
to
record
from
discs.
When
recording,
if
a
track
is
cut
off
in
the
middle
at
the
end
of
the
front
side,
it
is
recorded
from
the
beginning,
on
the
reverse
side.
®At
the
end
of
the
reverse
side
recording
stops
and
the
current
track
will
be
interrupted.
Preparation:
The
leader
tape
must
be
wound
on
beforehand
(#
page
37),
Press
[4
OPEN]
on
deck
2,
and
then
insert
a
tape
with
the
exposed
part
of
the
tape
facing
downward.
Itis
better
to
use
a
tape
slightly
longer
than
the
CD
playing
time
when
recording.
Close the holder.
To record in Dolby B NR;
Press
[DOLBY
NRA]
and
check
“D0
NR”
is
dis-
played.

[REV
MODE]
to
select
the
reverse
mode.

side
will
record,
then
recording
will
stop
automatically.

Set
the
tape
travel
direction.
To
change
the
tape
travel
direction,
first
press
[<]]
or
[>]
on
the
cassette
deck,
then

the
direction
will
automatically
change
to
“S=>"
when
you
press
[EDIT].
To
stop
one-touch
editing:
Press
[IM]
on
the
cassette
deck.
The
CD
player
also
stops.
“EDIT
OUT"
will
scroll
across
the
display
from
right
to
left.
To
edit-record
programmed
tracks
