FM Mode
Selecting FM Mode
1. Press MODE button to select FM mode.
2. For initial use, it will start at the beginning of the
FM frequency range (87.50MHz). Or it will play
the last FM station you were listening to.
3. To manually change the FM frequency,
making sure no other order/system setting is
going on, press or button to change the
frequency by 0.05MHz per step.
4. To automatically scan, while FM frequency
shows up, press or button, and then
press button, your radio will skip backward
or forward until it reached the next available
station.
Scan Setting
This is a scanning option to scan all stations, or just
scan stations with strong signal.
1. Press and hold MENU button, and then press
or button to select ‘Scan setting’, press
button to confirm.
2. Press or button to select ‘Strong
Stations Only’, and then press button to
confirm. The scans stop only at stations with
good signal strength.
3. Press or button to select ‘All Stations’,
and then press button to confirm. The
scans stop at any available station. This may
result in a poor signal-to-noise ratio (hiss) from
weak stations.
Audio Setting
By default, all stereo stations are reproduced in
stereo. For weak stations, this may result in a poor
signal-to-noise ratio (hiss).
1. To play weak stations in mono, press and hold
MENU button, and then press or button
to select ‘Audio setting’, press button to
confirm.
2. Press or button to browse ‘Forced
mono’, and then press button to confirm.
Note: the unit will automatically switch between
stereo and mono when ‘Stereo allowed’ is
selected depending on the signal strength, but
you can override this and switch this function
manually. This is helpful when receiving poor
signal reception
Viewing Station Information
It is possible to view the information that is displayed
on the display when listening to a FM program by
pressing MENU button repeatedly. The display will
show the information through Radio Text, Program
Type, Program Name, Audio info and Date.
Storing Preset Stations
Your radio can store up 6 of your favourite FM
stations as preset stations. This will enable you to
access your favourite stations quickly and easily.
1. While a program is playing, press and hold one
of DIRECT PRESET buttons P1- P6 until the
display show ‘Preset # stored’
2. Preset number ‘ #’ will show on the bottom of
display.
Recalling Preset Stations
1. Press one of DIRECT PRESET buttons P1- P6
directly to play the preset station
2. ‘Preset Empty’ will be shown if the preset station
isn’t allocated.
