DRC (Dynamic Range Control) value
If you are listening to music with high dynamic range in a noisy environment (for example classical
music while cooking), you may wish to compress the audio dynamic range. This makes quiet
sounds louder and loud sounds quieter.
1. Press and hold INFO/MENU button, turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to select DRC,
and then press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm.
2. Turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to select 'DRC high', 'DRC low' or 'DRC off' (default),
and then press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm.
Selecting another Station
1. Press and hold INFO/MENU button, and then turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to
selectAuto select, press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm.
2. Turn SCROLL/SELECT knob to select Disable(default) or Enable, and then press
SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm.
a) If Disableis selected, while a program is playing, turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE
knob to browse station list, and then press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to
confirm broadcasting.
b) If Enableis selected, while a program is playing, turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE
knob to browse stations list, the station you desired will be automatically broadcast.
Secondary Service
You may see a >> symbol after the name of the station, this indicates that there are secondary
services available to that station. These secondary services contain extra services that are related
to the primary station. E.g. a sports station may want to add extra commentaries. The secondary
services are inserted directly after the primary station (a<<symbol is before the name of the
station) in the station list.
To select the secondary station, turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob until you find the
secondary service you want, then press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to select it.
When the secondary service ends, the unit will automatically switch back to the primary station.
Prune Invalid
You may remove all unavailable stations from the station list.
1. Press and hold INFO/MENU button, turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to select Prune’,
and then press SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm.
2. Turn SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to select ‘Yes’, and then press
SCROLL&SELECT/SNOOZE knob to confirm removing all invalid stations.
