9.2 Adding channels/stations to the list of favourites
To add channels/stations from the TV list or radio list to the list of
favourites, open the program organizer as described in section 9.1
and select the TV list or Radio list.
> Now use the up/down arrow buttons to mark a channel/station
that you want to add to the list.
> You can add the marked channel/station to the list of favourites
by pressing the green to Fav. function button.
Marking several at the same time
To mark several channels/stations at the same time, proceed as
follows:
> Press the OK button to enter selection mode.
> You can now use the arrow buttons to mark the following/
previous channel or station as well.
> After you have marked the desired channels/stations in this
way, press the green to Fav. function button to add the marked
channels/stations to the list of favourites.
9.3 Deleting channels/stations
9.3.1 Removing (deleting) from the list of favourites
To remove channels/stations from the list of favourites, open the
program organizer as described in section 9.1 and select the
Favourite list.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark a channel/station that
you want to remove from the list.
> Press the red Remove function button.
> To remove several channels/stations at the same time, mark
them as described in Section 9.2 (Marking several at the same
time).
> After you have marked the desired channels/stations in this way,
press the red Remove function button.
The channels/stations that you have deleted in this way are,
however, still contained in the TV list or radio list and can be
added to the list of favourites again at any time.
9.3.2 Removing from the TV list or radio list
To delete channels/stations from the TV list or radio list, open the TV
list or Radio list as described in section 9.1.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark a channel/station that
you want to delete from the list.
> Press the red Delete function button.
> To delete several channels/stations at the same time, mark them
as described in Section 9.2 (Marking several at the same
time).
> After you have marked the desired channels/stations in this way,
press the red Delete function button.
The system will then ask you whether you really want to delete
the channel(s)/station(s).
> If you are sure you want to delete the channel(s)/station(s), mark
the Yes fi eld and confi rm with OK.
9.4 Sorting channels/stations
To change the order of channels/stations appearing in the list of
favourites to suit your preferences, open the list of favourites as
described in Section 9.1.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the channel/station
that you want to move to a different position in the list.
> Press the green Sort function button.
A double-headed arrow appears next to the selected channel/
station.
> You can now use the arrow buttons and/or numerical keypad
to move the marked channel/station to the position that you want
in the program list.
> You can store the channel/station in the new position by pressing
the OK button.
> To sort several channels/stations at the same time, mark them
as described in Section 9.2 (Marking several at the same
time).
> Now press the yellow Sort function button.
A double-headed arrow appears next to the selected block of
channels/stations.
> You can now use the up/down arrow buttons and/or numerical
keypad to move the marked block of channels/stations to the
position that you want in the program list.
> You can store the block of channels/stations in the new position
by pressing the OK button.
> After you have confi gured the program list as desired, return to
normal mode by pressing the Menu button.
10 Special functions
To confi gure the special functions described in this section, proceed
as follows:
> Open the main menu by pressing the Menu button.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Settings item and
confi rm with OK.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Special functions
item and confi rm with OK.
The Special functions menu appears.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the relevant item and
adjust the function‘s setting as desired using the right/left arrow
buttons.
Broadcast area
In this line, enter the broadcast area in which you are using the TV
set.
Language (audio signal)
Enter your preferred audio language for digital channels here.
If the language is broadcast, it will be set automatically after the
search has been performed.
Dolby Digital (AC3)
Various fi lms are broadcast in Dolby Digital format. If you have a
Dolby Digital 5.1-channel amplifi er, you can watch fi lms that are
broadcast in this format with 5.1-channel Dolby Digital sound. All
that is required is that you connect the Audio Out Digital output of
your TV set (see Section 4.5.2) to the digital input of your Dolby
