(SAT = Satellite, CABLE = Cable or TERR = terrestrial) from
which you want to download the software. If you are receiving
the Astra satellite (19.2° East), SAT is the preferred source,
since the available bandwidth ensures the fastest download.
> If you want your TV set to perform this update automatically,
use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Software
update item.
> Use the right/left arrow button to set Yes.
> In the Download time menu item, use the numerical keypad
to set the time at which you want the software update to
occur.
> To manually start updating the operating software, press the
green Check function button.
> You can return to normal mode by pressing the Menu
button.
If the parameters of the data channel used for downloading
the software have changed you can correct them in this
menu.
You can obtain the current data from your dealer. Normally
you should not make any changes in this menu.
Caution:
The television must be in standby mode in order for it to be
able to download the software automatically.
11.3 Delete all programs
This function allows you to clear the channel/station memories
completely.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Delete all
programs item.
> Press the OK button.
The following message appears: „Really delete all
programs?“
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to mark Delete or Cancel.
> Confi rm your selection with OK.
11.4 System confi guration
This menu item allows you to view the specifi c device data.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the System
confi guration item.
> Confi rm with OK.
> You can return to normal mode by pressing the Menu
button.
12 Language (menu language)
This menu item allows you to change the menu language to suit
your preferences. To change the menu language, proceed as
follows:
> Open the main menu by pressing the Menu button.
> Select the Language menu item by marking it using the up/
down arrow buttons.
> Confi rm with OK.
The Language submenu appears.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark your desired
language.
> Store your selection by pressing the OK button.
> You can return to the Main menu by pressing the Back button.
13 CA system
This menu item gives you access to the submenus for the inserted
CI module. If you confi rm with OK, you can retrieve information about
the CI module that is being used or about the inserted smartcard.
Initialising the CI module manually
> You can initialise the CI module manually by pressing the green
CI Reset function button.
