6.4 General device functionality
6.4.1 Switching on the device
> First prepare the TECHNIRADIO 6 IR for operation in accordance with the
descriptions in Sections 6.3.1 and 6.3.2.
> Switch on the TECHNIRADIO 6 IR by pressing the /VOLUME knob (6).
Aer switching on the device for the first time, you must first configure the
first installation wizard. There are details of this in Section 8.
6.4.2 Switching o the device
> Keep the /VOLUME knob depressed to switch the device to standby mode.
The date and time are shown on the display. The display brightness in standby
mode can be adjusted as described in Section 14.4.
