The Temperature Tr a n s m i tt e r uses 2 x AAA, I EC LR3, 1.5V battery. T o
i n s t a ll and r e p l a c e the b a tt e r i e s , p l ea s e f o ll o w the steps b e l o w:
1. Remove the battery compartment cover at
t h e back of the tr a n s m i tt e r .
2. I n s e rt the b a tt e r i e s , ob s e rv i ng the correct po l a r i ty
( s ee m a rk i ng ) .
3. R e p l a c e the battery compartment cover on
t h e un i t .

In the event of ch a ng i ng b a tt e r i e s i n any of the un i t s , a ll un i t s need to
b e reset by f o ll o w i ng the s e tt i ng up procedures. T h i s i s because a
s e cu r i ty code i s a ss i gn e d by the tr a n s m i tt e r at start-up and t h i s code
must b e r e c e i v e d and stored by the Weather s t a t i on i n the f i r s t 3
m i nu t e s o f power b e i ng s upp li e d to i t .
