Do you have a question about the Technogym Leg Curl and is the answer not in the manual?
This document outlines the features, usage, and maintenance of the Technogym Selection Leg Curl machine, a strength training equipment designed for leg exercises.
The Leg Curl machine is primarily used for strengthening the muscles in the legs, specifically targeting the hamstrings. Users perform exercises by sitting on the adjustable seat and operating a lever with their legs, which moves a weight stack. The equipment is designed to provide a controlled and effective workout for the lower body.
The Leg Curl machine offers several adjustable features to accommodate different users and exercise preferences:
To begin using the equipment, users should first comfortably access the seat by pushing the button on the ROM lever (A) and moving the lever forward to lower the roller pads. The seat can then be adjusted by lifting the lever (B) located under the handgrip on the left side. Users' knees should rest against the upper roller (C), with the lower roller positioned behind their legs. The lower roller (D) can be adjusted behind the ankles by pulling the end knob (E). Once these adjustments are made, the desired workload is selected with the pin, and the starting position is set by lifting the legs with the help of the ROM lever (A). During the exercise, users are encouraged to use the side handgrips for greater stability.
It is important to maintain a smooth, controlled speed throughout the movement, ensuring that the weight is always under control. Users should avoid allowing the weight plates to touch during the set. At the end of the exercise, the ROM lever button should be pushed, and the lever moved forward to lower the roller pads, allowing for a comfortable exit from the machine.
Routine maintenance is essential to ensure the safety, longevity, and hygienic condition of the Leg Curl machine.
For any maintenance actions not explicitly described in this manual, users should contact the Technogym Technical Support Service. When doing so, it is important to provide the equipment model, date of purchase, serial number, and a precise description of the problem. Any operations performed on the equipment by unauthorized personnel will invalidate the warranty.
The equipment is supplied fully assembled, protected by cellophane wrapping, and secured to a pallet. It can be lifted and handled using standard lifting machinery. When moving the equipment, it is necessary to use the optional wheels. The wheels snap onto the feet of the equipment after it has been lifted and are secured by special straps. The equipment should be lifted from the weight stack side using a pallet truck or fork-lift truck, with a wedge placed underneath the frame for safety. Padded material is recommended between the frame and the wedge, and between the frame and the lifting machine. The fixed wheels must always be placed underneath the weight stack. When lifting, avoid exerting pressure against the weight stack guard. When moving, push only from the weight stack side. The wheels are solely for moving the equipment and must be removed before use. The lever for adjusting the range of motion (ROM) should not be used to move the equipment, as this can cause damage and instability.
After positioning the equipment, it must be checked for levelness. This can be achieved by adjusting the screw located underneath the foot (A), indicated by two raised arrows. Due to the weight of the equipment, it is recommended that more than one person be involved in lifting it for adjustment.
For prolonged periods of non-use, the equipment should be stored in a clean, dry place, covered with a cloth to protect it from dust. The storage environment should maintain a temperature between +10°C and +25°C and a humidity level between 20% and 90%. For optimal storage, the original packing materials should be used.
When disposing of the equipment, it is crucial to ensure it does not pose a hazard, especially to children. The equipment should not be disposed of in the environment or in public or privately accessible areas. The Leg Curl machine is constructed from recyclable materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastic. These materials must be disposed of according to urban refuse collection regulations and handled by specialist environmental firms.
