Overview

The Technogym Top Excite Live is a commercial-grade exercise machine designed for indoor use in residential and professional environments, classified as a class SA device according to ISO EN 20957-1 and EN ISO 20957-5. It is primarily intended for exercising the shoulders and arms, offering both standing and seated workout positions.

Function Description:

The Top Excite Live enables users to perform an alternating arm cycle exercise. It features a display (available in 16" or 10" sizes) that allows users to view and manage workout and entertainment information, settings, and content via a touch-screen interface, including content from the Technogym App Store. The exercise levers are adjustable in both length and height to accommodate different users. For seated workouts, a removable seat is available, which can be adjusted to 9 different positions. The machine also supports wheelchair users, allowing them to slide the seat out and bring their wheelchair onto the rear footrests.

Usage Features:

  • Display: Touch-screen interface for workout data, entertainment, and settings.
  • Exercise Levers: Adjustable in length by rotating a knob (Q) and in height by using a locking piece (S) to raise or lower the unit (R).
  • Seat: Optional, slides into 9 marked positions. It can be removed to accommodate standing exercises or wheelchair users. A visible red area or tipping hazard symbol (V) indicates when the seat is not locked into place.
  • Heart Rate Monitor: The product can monitor heart rate with compatible devices. Users are warned not to exceed 90% of their maximum heart rate during workouts, and the heart rate display is indicative, not for medical diagnosis.

Maintenance Features:

  • Routine Cleaning: The product should be kept clean and dust-free. The display should be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth after turning off the product and unplugging it. The entire product should be cleaned weekly with a damp sponge. Chemical products or solvents should not be used.
  • Periodic Maintenance: Technogym Technical Support Service should perform periodic maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication. Before servicing, the product must be turned off and unplugged.
  • Adjusting Levers: The play of the levers can be adjusted by removing the cover (A), adjusting a screw with a key (B), and then replacing the cover.
  • Replacing Fuses: Fuses protect electrical parts. They must be replaced by Technogym Technical Support Service with certified fuses of the same electrical specifications (3.15 A (F)). The fuse holder (R) is removed by pressing a lever.
  • Troubleshooting: A list of common problems and remedies is provided, including issues with power, internal noise, and product level. For unresolved problems, contact Technogym Technical Support Service.
  • Storage: For extended periods of inactivity, store the product in a clean, dry place with a dust cover, at temperatures between -10°C (14°F) and 70°C (158°F), and relative humidity between 20% and 90%.
  • Disposal: The product is made from recyclable materials and must be disposed of according to urban waste collection regulations. Electrical and electronic equipment waste requires a specific disposal system. For commercial users, Technogym Customer Service can arrange collection and disposal. The average life of the product is 10 years.

Safety Information:

Users should consult a medical professional before starting any exercise program. All instructions must be read before use. The product should only be used for its intended purpose (exercising shoulders and arms). Do not use accessories not recommended by Technogym. Never operate a damaged product or one that has fallen into water. Keep hands away from moving parts and the power cable away from heated surfaces. The product must be properly grounded to prevent electric shock. The seat must always be locked into one of the 9 positions before use to prevent tipping hazards. The safety of the product is assured only with regular inspections for damage or wear. Unauthorized work on the product will invalidate the warranty.
