ALTITUDE HOLD (ALT) MODE , MANUAL CAPTURE
At the desired altitude:

If climbing or descending at a high rate when the ALT key is
pressed, the airplane will overshoot the reference altitude
and then return to it. The amount of overshoot will depend on
the vertical speed when the ALT key is pressed.
