CONT.2 - interrupt allowed from input DI2
CONT.3 - interrupt allowed from input DI3
0 = interrupt prohibited
1 = interrupt allowed
PLC response time is the sum of all times with which processing of the
interrupt is loaded since the rise of the interrupt request at the PLC input to
closing of the output closing element. Response time is affected not only by
the PLC properties, but also by the way of processing in the user program.
For better clarity, the following description contains also comparable pa-
rameters and the time diagram of processing of the input signal of standard
binary inputs.
t
min
- minimum width of the input pulse (minimum lasting time of one
level of the input signal)
- min. 30 s for interrupt inputs
- for standard binary inputs, at the minimum the lasting time of the
program cycle
t
IH
, t
IL
- input delays
Signal delay at passing through the input filter.
- max. 5 s for interrupt inputs
- typically 4 ms for standard binary inputs
t
VP
- time of serving of the interrupt
Time from the IRQ evaluation to running of the P42 process.
Most significant part of t
VP
is formed by the time necessary to the
possible finishing of the cycle loop (max. 4 ms) and time neces-
sary to finish user program instructions being processed at the
moment. In the case of some special instructions (for example
PID) or user instructions (for example TER_ID05), time for the in-
struction execution may reach up to 10 ms.
- max. 10 ms if servicing according to Figs. 10.1 and 10.2
- not applied if servicing according to Fig. 10.3
t
P42
- lasting time of the P42 process
- max. 5 ms if servicing according to Figs. 10.1 and 10.2
- not applied if servicing according to Fig. 10.3
t
OC
- lasting time of the cycle loop
Time between two user program cycles following one after an-
other. Lasting time of the cycle loop depends on the PLC set con-
figuration.
- max. 4 ms for the TC600 series
t
C
- - cycle lasting time
Lasting time of the user program cycle depends on the task extent
and structure of the user program.
- not applied if servicing according to Figs. 10.1 and 10.2
- max. 2550 ms if servicing according to Fig. 10.3
t
KC
- time until the cycle end
Time until the cycle end expresses situation which arrives at syn-
chronization of the program response with the user program cycle
- not applied if servicing according to Fig. 10.1
- max. t
C
- t
P42
