• Poor, wet, impregnated or painted fuel caus-
es a build-up of condensation and/or soot in
the flue or in the stove. This will reduce the
stove’s performance and may create danger-
ous situations.
• Have the flue cleaned and swept regularly
according to local laws and regulations and/
or the rules of your insurance policy. In the
absence of local laws and regulations and/
or insurance rules: have your entire stove sys-
tem - including flue - checked and serviced
at least twice a year (the first of which at the
beginning of the stoking season) by an au-
thorised specialist. If the stove is used inten-
sively, the whole system, including flue, must
be cleaned more frequently.
• Do not use the stove as a barbecue.
Only connect one stove to each flue.
Connecting more than one stove to
the same flue can cause dangerous
situations.
This stove also requires an electrical power sup-
ply. Be sure to read the following cautions and
notes carefully:
• Do not use if the power cord is damaged.
• A damaged power cord may only be replaced
by the supplier, an authorised person or ser-
vice point.
• Do not pinch or bend the power cord.
• Make sure the power cord cannot come into
contact with the hot parts of the stove.
• NEVER connect the appliance with an exten-
sion cable. If a suitable, earthed power socket
is not available, you will need to have one fit-
ted by a qualified electrician.
