Recent
inputs
from
the Field
have
indicated
problems
concerning setting·
up
color temperatures in the
670
Series
Color
Monitors.
The
problem
centered
around
the proper
high
and
low
light
values,
and
the
inability
to
set
all
three colors
up
for a proper white.
With
Red
and
Blue
set
for the proper
10
IRE
and
100
IRE
levels,
Green
had
insufficient
adjustment range.
This
becomes
particularly
apparent
when
the
CRT
is
changed
due
to
slight
changes
in the
phosphors
from
batch to batch.
Mod
52244
has
made
R4201
and
R4231
test
selectable with a
nominal
value
of 5.iK
ohms
(P/N
315-0512-00).
The
selection range
is
approximately
-lK
ohms+
3K
ohms.
This
mod
will
alter
the
Red
and
Blue
biases
enough
to allow the three
guns
to
track.
