A.1 Troubleshooting
If you encounter any problems during installation, please refer to the table below for troubleshooting tips. If the issue
persists, we recommend contacting your dealer for further assistance.
Symptom Solution
None of the LEDs on the router
are lighting up.
Verify the power supply to the router, including the power source, ON/OFF switch,
and main power outlet.
You have forgotten access
password for the router.
Ignore the configuration through the RST button (as described in the appropriate
section).
The LAN connector LED fails to
light up.
Inspect the Ethernet cable and the network connection.

The WAN connector LED fails to
light up.

A.2 Updating the software
The Teldat M2 router is equipped with the capability to update to new releases. For detailed information on the latest
updates, we recommend contacting your distributor.
To update a Teldat router, there are multiple methods available. For comprehensive instructions, please refer to the
“Teldat Dm748-I Software Updating ” manual.
When it comes to updating a Teldat router, the required software is provided in a distribution format. This contains all
the necessary files for updating your device, along with detailed information on their content.
A.3 Establishing a connection to the router
A.3.1 Connecting via the local console (AUX connector)
The Teldat M2 router family offers a convenient RJ45 female connector called AUX on its front panel, allowing ac-
cess to the device's local console.
