Surface correction
Surface probes conduct heat from the surface being measured
following the first contact. For this reason the measured result is lower
than the true surface temperature without the probe (the opposite
arises in the case of surfaces which are colder compared to the
ambient temperature). This effect can be corrected with an addition in
percentage of the measured value.
Data is input in the main menu under PROBE - SURF CORR and can
be defined differently for probe socket 1 or 2 (maximum 30 %).
All of the temperature probes are corrected with the input values
regardless of the chosen location. In EEPROM probes the corrected
value is stored in the probe.
The globe thermometer 0554.0670 (D = 150 mm) is used to measure
radiation temperature in accordance with ISO 7243, ISO 7726, DIN
EN 27726, DIN 33403.
