Wear safety goggles, disconnect power when not in use, and avoid direct contact with the laser beam.

Remove the existing hotend/extruder and attach the laser module to the extruder/hotend plate.
Connect the laser's PWM control wire to the servo port of the MKS GEN board as shown in the diagram.
Connect the 24V to 12V adapter to the PSU and then connect the 12V power connector to the module's DC jack.
Adjust Z-axis, turn on laser at low power, and fine-tune the focus screw for the smallest spot.
Install Inkscape and the Repetier laser plugin to create gcode files for engraving.
Recommended engraving speeds are 100-1500mm/min; testing is encouraged for optimal results.
