- Handlebar Adjustment: The handlebars are height-adjustable to suit individual user preferences.
- Starting Procedures: Detailed instructions are provided for recoil start (with or without primer/choke) and electric start models. For cold engines, the choke lever should be set to "Choke," and for warm engines, to "Run." The primer pump should be pressed 1-3 times (or up to 3-5 times if needed) before starting.
- Self-Propelled Drive: Some models include a self-propelled function with adjustable speed (2.3-4.3 km/h or 2.7-5.0 km/h depending on the model), controlled by a throttle lever or speed lever. Speed changes should only be made while the machine is moving to minimize wear on the drive belt.
- Stopping the Engine: To stop the lawnmower, release the engine brake handle and the drive bar. The blades will continue to rotate for up to 3 seconds after stopping.
- Water Nozzle (select models): A water nozzle on the left side of the cutting deck allows for easy cleaning of the underside of the deck. The machine should be set to the lowest cutting height and placed on grass for this function to be effective.
- Mulching Function (select models): A mulching plug can be inserted for mulching, which eliminates the need for a grass collector. The side discharge guard should be removed when mulching.
- Side Discharge (select models): For side discharge, the side guard is lifted, and the side discharge guard is inserted. The mulching plug should be inserted into the rear discharger.

Maintenance Features:

- Air Filter Maintenance: The air filter should be regularly inspected and cleaned. For paper filters, a soft brush can be used, and for foam elements, warm soapy water is recommended. The foam element should be lightly oiled with SAE-30 oil after cleaning and drying.
- Blade Inspection and Replacement: The blade should be regularly inspected for damage, cracks, rust, or corrosion. A dull blade can be sharpened, but a damaged, bent, or cracked blade must be replaced. When removing the blade, a torque wrench and protective gloves should be used, and the blade bolt should be tightened to 50 Nm.
- Spark Plug Maintenance: The spark plug should be cleaned and inspected regularly. The electrode gap should be 0.7-0.8 mm. If damaged, it should be replaced (part no. 40-11294).
- Cable Adjustment: Drive, engine brake, and throttle cables should be checked and adjusted as needed to ensure optimal performance. The choke cable is not adjustable.
- Battery Charging (electric start models): The battery for electric start models must be charged for 5 hours before first use and periodically (1-2 times during winter, at least every 3 months) to maintain full capacity. The battery should be stored dry and warm during winter.
- Wheel Cleaning and Lubrication: The wheels, especially the ratchets in the rear wheels, should be cleaned and lubricated at least once a year with suitable grease (e.g., EP-0) to ensure durability.
- Storage: The lawnmower should be stored in a dry and clean area after each use. Before winter storage, the fuel tank should be emptied, and the engine run until all fuel is consumed. A small amount of engine oil should be poured into the spark plug hole, and the starter cord pulled a few times to distribute it. The deck and metal parts should be lubricated to prevent rust.
