  There are several reasons why your Texas Lawn Mower might not be starting. Make sure you are activating the engine brake handle when starting. Prime the engine by pushing the primer 1-3 times. Verify the choke is in the correct position. Also, check the fuel tank to make sure it's not empty or that the gasoline isn't old (more than 3 months). If the gasoline is old, empty the tank and carburetor and refill with fresh gasoline.
