High Altitude:
For safe LP conversion of an appliance for use at higher
elevations, consult the local gas company for their
recommendations for correct orifice sizes and any other
necessary adjustments that will provide proper gas
combustion at high altitudes.
Step 1: Accessing the Gas
Regulator and Burner Orifices
NOTICE:
After the replacement of each orifice, and before
re-assembly of the burner, perform a brief gas leakage
check of the orifice and associated fittings, per the
“Check for Gas Leaks” section of these instructions.
1. Disconnect all electrical power at the main circuit
breaker or fuse box.
2. Shut off the gas supply to the range by closing the
manual shut-off valve.
3. Remove the cooking grates.
