If your ThermoFisher Scientific Laboratory Equipment instrument won't start a run, it might be due to a Deck Scan error, indicating missing or improperly loaded consumables. First, check the touchscreen for Deck Scan warnings and correct any errors. Ensure all buckets are correctly seated in the centrifuge rotors, cartridges are correctly loaded and level, Ion Chef™ Library Sample Tube barcodes are visible and correctly positioned, and all tubes on the Reagents cartridge are present and uncapped. If the error persists, and you're confident in your setup, you can proceed by tapping YES after the Deck Scan. Alternatively, if the instrument has encountered an internal error, record the error and contact Technical Support.
