What to do if one of the oven lights does not come on, but the oven works on my Thor Kitchen HRG3618U-1?
    • J
      jacobjohnsonSep 23, 2025
If one of the oven lights does not come on but the oven works, the light bulb may be loose or blown. See instructions for ‘Replacing the oven light bulb’ in the ‘Care and cleaning’ section. Instead of replacing the bulb, simply ensure that it is secure in its socket. If it has blown, replace the bulb. See instructions for ‘Replacing the oven light bulb’ in the ‘Care and cleaning’ section.

What to do if my Thor Kitchen Ranges burners have very large and yellow flames?
    • T
      Tricia McfarlandAug 25, 2025
If the burner flames on your Thor Kitchen Ranges are very large and yellow, the burner bezel ports may be clogged, burner ports or burner caps might not be positioned properly, the cooktop may be using the wrong type of gas, or the regulator could be faulty or set incorrectly. Try cleaning the burner bezel ring ports with a straightened paper clip, needle, or wire. Also, remove and carefully reinstall the burner bezel and caps. Ensure the cooktop matches the natural gas supply. Check the installation, replace the regulator, or set the regulator for the proper gas.

What to do if there is a power failure and I want to use my Thor Kitchen HRG3618U-1 cooktop burners?
    • R
      Renee SteeleAug 26, 2025
Yes, the cooktop burners can still be used during a power failure. To light them manually: Hold a lighted match to the flame spreader, push in on the control knob and turn counterclockwise to LITE. When the flame is burning all the way around the burner, you may adjust the heat. Important! If the flame is blown out during a power failure, turn the knob immediately to OFF, as the burner will not automatically relight and gas may escape.

Ensure that the type of cooktop matches the natural gas supply. Check the regulator installation, replace the regulator, or set the regulator for the proper gas.
