FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
LED signals
LED
There are ten LEDs:
• A green “ON” LED, which indicates that proper auxiliary power is available to the relay. This ash-
es to indicate a fault detected by the self-test function
• A green “V4 - V8 - V12” LED which indicates that phase voltage is present
• A red “ 51 - 51N” LED
• A red “ 67N” LED
• A red “ 32P” LED
• A green “INV” LED - inverse directionality
• A yellow “CRC” LED - reclosing cycle in progress
• A green “LOCAL” LED
• A red “Hot Line Tag” LED
• A green “Fault” LED
Communications interfaces
The SME2-IS detector has the following interfaces:
• One Ethernet 100 BaseT port for local connections (ThyVisor)
• One Ethernet 100 BaseT port for connection to the eld bus with the IEC61850 protocol and a bre
optical connection.
