Questions and Answers

What to do if TIC Speakers have no sound?
    • D
      Dennis JosephJul 26, 2025
If you are experiencing no sound from your TIC speakers, begin by ensuring the speakers are correctly connected to the cable and that the speaker cable is properly connected to the receiver amplifier. Verify that the receiver amplifier is powered on, not muted, has no headphones attached, and that the correct channels for the exterior speakers (typically A or B) are active. As a next step, try a different connection cable to your outdoor speakers or equipment to rule out connectivity issues.

What to do if one TIC speaker has no sound?

      Jacob WeaverAug 5, 2025
If one of your TIC speakers isn't producing sound, start by checking the balance control on your receiver amplifier. Next, inspect all connections and the cable leading to the silent speaker. Try swapping the cord from the non-operating speaker to the connection of the working speaker. If sound is now present, the issue lies with your receiver amplifier. If not, reconnect as it was originally and remove the speaker cable at the working speaker, connecting it directly to the non-working speaker. If the speaker now functions, the problem is in the original speaker cable. Should the speaker remain silent, the speaker itself is the source of the problem.

Why does my TIC speaker have poor treble or bass?
    • D
      david35Aug 14, 2025
If you're experiencing issues with the treble or bass in your TIC speakers, first check the tone settings on your receiver amplifier. Adjust the treble and bass settings to your preference. Also, carefully inspect the connections from the amplifier to your speakers, ensuring correct phase (+ to + and – to – accordingly). Poor sound replication can occur if speakers are out of polarity or phase.
