  If the inner container of your Tiger Water Heater is dirty and white material is floating in the hot water, this is caused by a reaction of the minerals contained in the water. Clean the unit with Citric Acid.

Why is the water from my Tiger PDU-A30U not hot enough?

  If the Tiger Water Heater is not hot enough, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if Energy Saving Mode is selected; if so, press Temp.Set or Unlock key to bring it up to the setting temperature in a minute. Also, make sure the unit is completely upright, especially if hot water was dispensed while the unit was tilted. Ensure the plug is properly connected. If it is set to lock automatically, press the Unlock key once to dispense hot water.

  If your Tiger Water Heater's boil and keep warm lamps flash alternately and signs appear on the display, and the unit is equipped with Dry-Boil Protection, it means there is no water or very little water in the container. Unplug the unit, refill it above the refill level of the water volume indicator, leave it for a while, then plug it in again.

  If hot water is coming out of your Tiger Water Heater on its own, it is likely because the water level is above the "Max water level." To resolve this, keep the water below the "Max water level."

  If your Tiger Water Heater does not boil after refilling the water and the boil light does not lit, it might be because the container was filled with hot water hotter than approximately 122°F. Refill it with cooled or cold water. Also, try to bring the water to a boil by pressing the Re-Boil/Timer key.
