The
balance
stop
mechanism
is
purely
mechanical.
In
the
running
position,
the
tip
of
the
stem
butts
ogoinst
the
stop
lever
and
keeps
the
tip
of
the
stop
lever awoy
from
the
balance
impulse disc.
In
the
stop
position
(when
the
stem
is
pulled
out
into
the
set
position),
the
tip
of
the
stop
lever
butts
against
the
impulse disc
on
the
balance,
thus
stopping
the
balance
.
