4. CHAIN AND BAR LUBRICATIPON.
WARNING! The chain saw is not supplied lled
with oil. It is essential to ll with oil before use. Never
operate the chain saw without chain oil or at an empty oil
tank level, as this will result in extensive damage to the
product.
Never starve the bar and chain of lubrication oil.
Running the saw dry or with too little oil will decrease
cutting efciency, shorten chain saw life, and cause
rapid during of the chain and excessive wear of the bar
from overheating. Too little is evidenced by smoke or bar
discoloration.
Adequate lubrication of the saw chain during cutting
operations is essential to minimize friction with the guide
bar. your chainsaw is equipped with an automatic oiler
system. The oiler automatically delivers the proper amount
of oil to the bar and chain.
The oil tank holds 100ml of oil, enough to lubricate the chain
for 20-25 minutes of cutting. Check oil level gauge (19) prior
to starting and regularly during operation. Rell oil when oil
level is lower than "MIN" marking.(See Fig.13)
Filling oil tank:
1). Set chain saw on any suitable surface with oil ller cap (3)
facing upward.
2). Clean area around the oil ller cap with cloth.
3). Add chain saw oil until reservoir is full. You can choose
SAE30 or SAE10.
4). Avoid dirt or debris entering oil tank, ret oil ller cap and
tighten.
