CD player cannot be remotely
operated
• Batteries empty
• No reception
• Change the batteries in the
remote control
• Hold the remote control towards
the speaker casing/front panel
The record button on the cassette
tray cannot be operated
• Cassette is protected against
accidental erasing
• If the cassette should be erased,
stick Sellotape over the openings
on the back of the cassette
Cassette/CD running to fast/
too slow (for devices with pitch
control only)
• Pitch control is not centred • Control the speed using the
controller
The box sounds mufed or there
are synchronisation errors during
cassette playback
• Cassette tape is loose
• Cassette tape is dirty
• Tighten the cassette tape using a
pencil or similar
• Clean the erasing head, tape
head pressure roller and cap-
stan in the cassette player with a
cotton bud and alcohol
No Bluetooth

• Sever the existing connection
