How to fix no sound from Toa TS-700 speaker?
    • J
      josephshawAug 1, 2025
If there is no output from the conference unit speaker, check that the connection cord is correctly connected. Ensure the 1 m cable is connected to the conference unit, the 2 m cable to the center amplifier, and the extension cord to the junction box. Also, verify that the center amplifier's line volume control (LINE) is not set to the minimum position; adjust it to an appropriate level.

What to do if the microphone LED doesn't light on my Toa Conference System when pressing the talk button?
    • D
      Dawn MoranAug 7, 2025
If the microphone LED does not light when you press the talk button on your conference unit, it could be due to a priority speech in progress. Wait for the priority speech to complete before pressing the talk button again. Alternatively, if all delegate units (TS-702) set with the speaker restriction switch (MIC LIMITER) are in use, you will need to wait until one of those units is finished before you can activate your microphone.

Why does the microphone LED turn off during speech on my Toa Conference System?
    • J
      Jeffrey KingAug 12, 2025
The microphone LED might be turning off during speech because the priority button (PRIORITY) has been pressed. To resume speaking, press the talk button (TALK) again after the priority speech is completed. Another reason could be that there was a longer break in your speech than the time set with the mic-off setting switch (TIME OUT). If long breaks are expected during the conference, set the mic-off setting switch to OFF.

Why isn't the automatic mic-off function working on my Toa TS-700 Conference System?
    • P
      patricia80Aug 18, 2025
The automatic mic-off function may not operate properly in areas with high levels of background noise, such as from an air conditioner. To resolve this, either install the conference units in a quieter room or set the mic-off setting switch (TIME OUT) to OFF.

How to resolve a single-tone chime not sounding when pressing the priority button on a Toa Conference System?
    • T
      Timothy HopkinsAug 25, 2025
If the single-tone chime does not sound when you press the priority button, check that the line volume control (LINE) on the center amplifier's front panel and the chime volume control (CHIME) on the rear panel are not both set to the minimum position. Adjust these volume controls to an appropriate level.
