2. Place the battery box in a convenient
position and away from possible water
spray. Securely fasten both the box
and the battery so they do not shake
loose.
3. Connect the positive lead (+) to the
positive terminal (+) of the battery,
and then connect the negative lead
(—). When disconnecting the bat-
tery, always remove the negative lead
(—) first. After connecting the positive
terminal (+), securely place a cap on
it to prevent short circuits.
