What to do if my Tornado Floorkeeper 28 TD/99128D isn't picking up water or leaves a film?

If your Tornado Scrubber isn't picking up water or is leaving a film, several issues could be the cause. First, if the vacuum sounds higher pitched than usual, the recovery tank might be full and needs draining. If it still doesn't pick up water, check the recovery hose for clogs. If no clog is found there, inspect the squeegee neck by loosening the easy grip knobs and flipping the squeegee assembly. Also, examine the rear squeegee blade edge for wear or debris.
