thetractionunitoperatorsmanualbeforeoperating
thecuttingunit.

operatorsmanualbeforeoperatingthecuttingunit.
Neverallowchildrentooperatethecuttingunits.
Donotallowadultstooperatetractionunitor
cuttingunitswithoutproperinstruction.Only
trainedoperatorswhohavereadthismanualshould
operatethecuttingunits.
Neveroperatethecuttingunitswhenunderthe
inuenceofdrugsoralcohol.
Keepallshieldsandsafetydevicesinplace.If
ashield,safetydeviceordecalisillegibleor
damaged,repairorreplaceitbeforeoperation
iscommenced.Alsotightenanyloosenuts,
bolts,andscrewstoensurecuttingunitisinsafe
operatingcondition.
Alwayswearsubstantialshoes.Donotoperate
cuttingunitswhilewearingsandals,tennisshoes,
sneakersorshorts.Also,donotwearloosetting
clothingwhichcouldgetcaughtinmovingparts.
Alwayswearlongpantsandsubstantialshoes.
Wearingsafetyglasses,safetyshoesandahelmet
isadvisableandrequiredbysomelocalordinances
andinsuranceregulations.
Removealldebrisorotherobjectsthatmightbe
pickedupandthrownbythecuttingunitreel
blades.Keepallbystandersawayfromtheworking
area.
Ifthecuttingbladesstrikeasolidobjectortheunit
vibratesabnormally,stopandshuttheengineoff.
Checkcuttingunitfordamagedparts.Repairany
damagebeforerestartingandoperatingthecutting
unit.
Lowerthecuttingunitstothegroundandremove
keyfromignitionswitchwhenevermachineisleft
unattended.
Besurecuttingunitsareinsafeoperatingcondition
bykeepingnuts,boltsandscrewstight.
Removekeyfromignitionswitchtoprevent
accidentalstartingoftheenginewhenservicing,
adjustingorstoringthemachine.
Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorassistanceisdesired,contactan
AuthorizedToroDistributor.
