How to start my Toro 13AX60RG544?
    • J
      Jessica FloresAug 12, 2025
If your Toro Tractor's engine won't start, ensure the PTO knob (or lever) is disengaged (OFF) and the parking brake is engaged. Check that the wires are connected to the spark plugs and the throttle lever is in the FAST position. Pull out the CHOKE control (if equipped) or place the throttle control in CHOKE. Make sure the fuel tank is filled with clean, fresh gas (less than 30 days old), the fuel line is clean, and the fuel filter is replaced if the tractor is equipped with one. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace the spark plug. Finally, try cranking the engine with the throttle in the FAST position.

Why does my Toro 13AX60RG544 Tractor engine run erratically?
    • C
      Chase HarrisAug 16, 2025
An erratic engine in your Toro Tractor can stem from several causes. First, ensure the CHOKE control is pushed in (if equipped) or the throttle control is out of the CHOKE position. Check and tighten the spark plug wires. Clean the fuel line and fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline (less than 30 days old). Replace the fuel filter, if equipped. Clear the vent or replace the cap if damaged. If the issue persists, drain the fuel tank and refill it with clean, fresh gasoline. Lastly, replace the air cleaner cartridge/element or clean the pre-cleaner, if equipped.

How to improve mulching with my Toro Tractor?
    • D
      Donna SchroederAug 19, 2025
If your Toro Tractor isn't mulching grass effectively, ensure the throttle control is in the FAST (rabbit) position. Avoid mowing when the grass is wet; wait until it's drier. Mow once at a high cutting height, then mow again at the desired height, or make a narrower cutting swath. Additionally, sharpen or replace the blade.
