midwaybetweentheauxiliarypumpandengine
pulleys.
4.Tightenlocknutto37to45N∙m(27to33ft-lb).
Replacingthe
Transmission-DriveBelt
Note:Noadjustmentsarerequiredforbelttension.
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Insertabreakerbarintothesocketofthe
belt-tensionbracketandmovethebracket
outwardandforward(Figure52).
