3.Installnewcrossandbearingsasfollows:
A.Applyathicklayerofgreasetothebearingboresintheendyokeand
shaftyoke.
B.Press1bearingpartiallyintoyoke.
C.Insertthecrossintotheyokeandbearing.
D.Holdthecrossinalignmentandpressthebearinginuntilithitstheyoke.
E.Installthesnapringintotheyokegroovetosecuretheinstalledbearing.
F.Placesecondbearingintotheyokeboreandontothecrossshaft.Press
thebearingintotheyokeandsecurewiththesnapring.
G.Repeattheprocedurefortheotheryoke.
H.Applygreasetothecrossuntilitcomesoutofallthe4bearingcups.
4.Ensurethattheassembledjointmoveswithoutanybinding.Lightlyrapthe
yokelugswithasoft-facedhammertoremoveslightbinding.Ifthebinding
continues,disassemblethejointtoidentifythesourceofbinding.
InstallingtheHydraulicPumpDriveshaft
1.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothehydraulicpumpinputshaft.
2.Positionthedriveshaftassemblytotheengineandpumpinputshaft.
3.Securethedriveshaftassemblytotheenginewiththe3bolts(item10in
Figure85)and3atwashers.
