4.Lubricatespoolliberallywithcleanhydraulicuidandcarefullyinstallinto
controlvalvebore.
5.Coatspacer(item13inFigure104),spring,andwasherliberallywithMPG-2
(orequivalent)grease.ApplyLoctite#242(orequivalent)tothreadsofscrew.
Installwasher,spring,andspacerintovalveandsecurewithscrew.Torque
screwto2.7to4.1N∙m(24to36in-lb).
6.ApplyLoctite#242(orequivalent)tothreadsofscrews(item7inFigure104).
7.Positiongasket(item3inFigure104)andendcaptocontrolvalve.Secure
endcaptovalvewith2screwswithlockwashers.Torquescrewsto2.7
to4.1N∙m(24to36in-lb).
8.Lubricatedetentplunger(item19inFigure104)withcleanhydraulicuidand
slideintocontrolvalvebore.
9.InstallnewO-rings(items23and24inFigure104)tolockoutseats.Apply
Loctite#242(orequivalent)tothreadsoflockoutseats.Installseatsinto
controlvalve.T orqueseatsto24to27N∙m(18to20ft-lb).
10.Lubricatepoppet(item11inFigure104),poppetstop,andspringliberally
withcleanhydraulicuidandinstallintocontrolvalvebore.
11.Installadapterplug(item14inFigure104)withnewO-ring,andplugwith
newO-ringintocontrolvalve.Torqueplugsto47to54N∙m(35to40ft-lb).
12.InstallnewO-ringtodetentplug(item16inFigure104).Lubricatedetentball
andspringwithcleanhydraulicuidandinstallintodetentplug.
13.Installdetentplugassemblytocontrolvalve.Torqueplugto14to20N∙m
(10to15ft-lb).
14.Ifcounterbalancevalvewasremoved,carefullythreadvalveintocontrol
valvehousing(Figure105).T orquecounterbalancevalveto47to54N∙m
(35to40ft-lb).
