•Then,presstherotateleftbutton.
•Then,presstherotaterightbutton.
•Then,pressandholdtheSTARTbuttonuntil
theenginestarts.
Important:Donotengagestarterformore
than10secondsatatime.Ifenginefailsto
startallow30secondcool-downperiodbetween
attempts.Failuretofollowtheseinstructions
canburnoutstartermotor.
Note:IftheSTARTbuttonispressedinadvertently
withoutcompletingthestartingsequence,thechute
directionbuttonswillnotfunction.Wait5seconds
beforepressingthechutedirectionbuttons.
5.Aftertheenginestarts,movethechokecontrolto
theoffposition.Iftheenginestallsorhesitates,
movethechokebacktotheONpositionforafew
seconds,thensettheenginespeedtothedesired
setting.Repeatthisasrequired.
StoppingtheEngine
1.Decreasetheenginespeedmidwaybetweenthe
slowandfastpositions.
2.Lettheengineidlefor20seconds.
3.PresstheSTOPbuttonontheremote.
4.Ifleavingthemachine,rotatethekeytotheOFF
positionandremoveitfromtheengine.
Important:Thelightsonthecontrolmodule
willstayonandthechutecanberotatedfor30
minutesafterthekeyisturnedoff.
ControllerTimeOut
Theblowerisequippedwithatime-outfeatureforthe
controlmodule.Thetime-outfeatureisactivatedafter
30minutesofcontinuousremotetransmitterinactivity.
•Wheninthetime-outmodetheenginewillnotrun
(orwillquitrunning)andtheremotetransmitter
willnotcontrolanyfunction.
•Towakecontrollerintime-outmode,turnthekey
switchtotheOFFpositionandthenturnthekey
switchtothestartpositionmomentarily(enginewill
turnover).
•Toavoidcontrollertime-outduringoperation,use
theremotetransmittertorotatethechuteorchange
theenginespeedatleastevery30minutes.
AdjustingtheNozzleDirection
Thedirectionofthenozzleopeningcanbechanged
fromrighttoleftbypressingtheappropriatebuttonon
theremotecontrol.
