Tire
Pressure
Maintain the air pressure in the front and rear tires as
specified. Uneven tire pressure can cause uneven cut.
Check the pressure at the valve stem after every 50
operating hours or monthly, whichever occurs first
(Fig. 38). Check the tires when they are cold to get
the most accurate pressure reading.
Pressure: 13 psi (90 kPa) drive wheels and castor
wheels.

Filter
Replace the fuel filter after every 200 operating hours
or yearly, whichever occurs first.
Replacing the Fuel Filter
Never install a dirty filter if it is removed from the
fuel line.
1. Disengage the power take off (PTO), set the
parking brake, and turn the ignition key to
“OFF” to stop the engine. Remove the key.
2. Close fuel shut–off valve on console.
3. Squeeze the ends of the hose clamps together
and slide them away from the filter (Fig. 39).
4. Remove the filter from the fuel lines.
5. Install a new filter and move the hose clamps
close to the filter (Fig. 40).
6. Open fuel shut-off valve on console.
