theseat(Figure5).
Closethefuelselectorvalvewhentransportingor
storingmower.
Movetheselectorvalvetothelefthand(LH)or
righthand(RH)positionforoperation.
MalfunctionIndicatorLight
Theelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)continuously
monitorstheoperationofthefuelsystem.
Ifthemalfunctionindicatorlight(MIL)illuminates,
duringoperation,theelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)has
detectedaproblemorfaultinthedirectfuelinjection
(DFI)system.
OncetheMILilluminates,initialtroubleshooting
checksshouldbemade.RefertotheMILsectionunder
Toubleshooting.
Ifthesechecksdonotcorrecttheproblem,further
diagnosisandservicingbyanAuthorizedServiceDealer
isnecessary.
