1.StarttheenginewiththethrottleintheFast
position.
2.Turntheignitionkeyclockwisetotherunposition
(Figure13).Theglowpluglightwillturnon.
3.Aftertheglowplugindicatorlightgoesout,turn
thekeytothestartposition.whentheenginesstarts
releasethekey.

StoppingtheEngine
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrollevers
totheneutrallockedpositionandsettheparking
brake(Figure15).
2.Movethethrottlelevermidwaybetweentheslow
andfastpositions(Figure14).
3.Lettheengineidlefor60seconds.
4.Turntheignitionkeytotheoffposition(Figure13).
Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
5.Removethekeytopreventpossibilityofsomeone
accidentallystartingthemachinebeforetransporting
orstoringmachine.
6.Closethefuelselectorvalvebeforetransportingor
storingthemachine.
