1.Starttheengineandletitrunveminutes.This
warmstheoilsoitdrainsbetter.
2.Parkthemachinesothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoensuretheoildrains
completely.
3.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
5.Placeapanbelowthedrain.Rotateoildrainvalveto
allowoiltodrain(Figure34).
6.Whenoilhasdrainedcompletely,closethedrain
valve.

EngineOil.
2.Removetheoldlterandwipethelleradapter
gasketsurface(Figure35).

andcheckforoilleaksaroundtheoillter.
9.Checktheengineoillevelandaddoilifneeded.

Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingthesparkplug.
Useasparkplugwrenchforremovingandinstallingthe
sparkplugsandagappingtool/feelergaugetocheckand
adjusttheairgap.Installanewsparkplugsifnecessary.
