Replacing the Pump Drive
Belt
Chec k the pump dri v e belt for w ear after ev er y
50 operating hours .
1. Push the seat forw ad and locate the pump
dri v e belt.
Note: Non-commercial o wners will need to
loosen the seat retainer clip that holds the seat
in place .
2. R emo v e the bolt from the clutc h stop and
unplug the clutc h electrical wire ( Figure 45 ).
3. Pull on the idler pulley to reliev e the belt
tension on the idler pulley ( Figure 45 ).
4. R emo v e the pump dri v e belt from the engine
and the h y draulic pump pulleys ( Figure 45 ).
5. Install the new belt around the engine and the
h y draulic pump pulleys ( Figure 45 ).
6. Pull the spring-loaded idler to the side and
align the belt.
7. R elease the pressure on the spring loaded idler
( Figure 45 ).

Adjusting the Control
Handle Neutral Position
1. Diseng ag e the PTO , mo v e the motion control
lev ers to the neutral loc k ed position, and set
the parking brak e .
2. Stop the engine , remo v e the k ey , and w ait for
all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving the
operating position.
3. Loosen the bolts and cur v ed w ashers installed
in the lev ers ( Figure 46 ).
4. Align the lev ers front to rear position b y bring
the lev ers tog ether to the neutral position and
slide them until they are aligned, then tighten
the bolts ( Figure 47 ).
