  If your Toro Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, make sure you are sitting on the seat and the fuel shut-off valve is open. Other possible solutions include filling the fuel tank with gasoline, cleaning or replacing the air cleaner element, installing the wire on the spark plug, installing a new, correctly-gapped spark plug, adjusting the throttle cable, replacing the fuel filter, and adjusting the carburetor idle speed and idle mixture. If none of these steps work, consider contacting an Authorized Service Dealer.
