Tostopthemachine,movethemotion-controlleversto
NEUTRALandoutwardtothePARKposition,disengagethe
blade-controlswitch,movethethrottletotheSLOWposition,
andturntheignitionkeytoOFF.Removethekeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
WARNING
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethemowerwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandmovethe
motion-controlleversoutwardtothePARKposition
whenleavingthemachineunattended,evenifjust
forafewminutes.

1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO)andengage
theparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Adjusttheanti-scalprollersto1ofthefollowing
positions:
•Upperhole—usethispositionwiththemowerdeck
inthe63mm(2-1/2inch)andbelowheight-of-cut
positions(Figure18).
•Lowerhole—usethispositionwiththemower
deckinthe76mm(3inch)andaboveheight-of-cut
positions(Figure18).
