DrivingtheMachine
Drivingthemachinebenetsfromanunderstandingof
whatzero-turn-radiusmowermeans.Thedrivewheelsturn
independently,poweredbyhydraulicmotorsoneachaxle;
henceonesidecanturninreversewhiletheotherturns
forwardcausingthemachinetospinratherthanturn.This
vastlyimprovesthemachinemaneuverabilitybutmayrequire
someadjustmentiftheoperatorisunfamiliar.
WARNING
Themachinecanspinveryrapidly.Theoperator
maylosecontrolofthemachineandcausepersonal
injuryordamagetothemachine.
Usecautionwhenmakingturns.
Slowthemachinedownbeforemakingsharp
turns.
Thethrottlecontrolregulatestheenginespeedasmeasured
inrpm(revolutionsperminute).Placingthethrottlecontrol
intheFastpositioncanbebestforperformance.Formost
applications,operatinginthefull-throttlepositionisdesirable.
