1.Movetheleverstothecenter,unlockedposition.
2.Togobackward,lookbehindyouanddown,asyou
slowlypullthemotion-controlleversrearward(Figure
17).

motion-controllevers(Figure17).
Toturn,releasethepressureonthemotion-control
levertowardthedirectionyouwanttoturn.
Tostop,pushthemotion-controlleverstoneutral.
StoppingtheMachine
Tostopthemachine,movethemotioncontrolleversto
neutralandoutwardtotheparkposition,disengagetheblade
controlswitch,movethethrottletotheslowposition,letthe
machineidlefor1minute,andturntheignitionkeytoOff.
Note:Remembertoremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
WARNING
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethemowerwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandmovethe
motioncontrolleversoutwardtotheparkposition
whenleavingthemachineunattended,evenifjust
forafewminutes.

Wheneveryouchangetheheight-of-cut,itisrecommended
toadjusttheheightoftheanti-scalprollers.
Note:Adjusttheanti-scalprollerssotherollersdonottouch
thegroundinnormal,atmowingareas.
1.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),movethe
motioncontrolleverstotheneutrallockpositionand
settheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Adjusttheanti-scalprollersasshowninFigure19to
matchtheclosestheight-of-cutposition.
