coveropeningwithaplasticbagandrubberbandto
preventallhydraulicuidfromdrainingout.
4.Locatethelterunderthefueltankandplacedrain
panunderlter(Figure69).

allowltertollwithhydraulicuid.
9.Whenthehydrauliclterisfull,turntheoillter
clockwiseuntiltherubbergasketcontactsthelter
adapter,thentightenthelteranadditional1/2turn
(Figure70).

11.Checktheuidinthereservoir,adduidtothetank
untilitreachesthecoldbafeofthetank.
Important:Useoilspeciedorequivalent.
Otheruidscouldcausesystemdamage.

purgeairfromthesystem.Stoptheengineand
checkforleaks.Ifoneorbothwheelswillnotdrive,
refertoBleedingHydraulicSystem.
13.Rechecklevelandadduid,ifrequired.Donot
overll.
BleedingtheHydraulicSystem
Thetractionsystemisselfbleeding,however,itmaybe
necessarytobleedthesystemifuidischangedorafter
workisperformedonthesystem.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineupontojackstands
highenoughtoraisethedrivewheelsofftheground.
4.Starttheengineandmovethethrottlecontroltoidle
position.
Ifthedrivewheeldoesnotrotate,itispossibleto
assistthepurgingofthesystembycarefullyrotating
thetireintheforwarddirection.
5.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelasitdropsadduid
asrequiredtomaintaintheproperlevel.
6.Repeatthisprocedurefortheoppositewheel.
7.Thoroughlycleantheareaaroundeachofthecharge
pumphousings.
