gasketsurfaceclean(Figure75).
5.Applyathincoathydraulicuidtotherubbergasket
onthereplacementlter.

adapter.Turntheoillterclockwiseuntiltherubber
gasketcontactsthelteradapter,thentightenthe
lteranadditional1/2turn(

8.Checktheuidinthereservoir,adduidtothetank
untilitreachesthecoldbafeofthetank.
Important:Useoilspeciedorequivalent.
Otheruidscouldcausesystemdamage.
9.Startengineandletrunforabouttwominutesto
purgeairfromthesystem.Stoptheengineand
checkforleaks.Ifoneorbothwheelswillnotdrive,
refertoBleedingHydraulicSystem.
10.Rechecklevelandadduid,ifrequired.Donot
overll.
BleedingtheHydraulicSystem
Thetractionsystemisselfbleeding,however,itmaybe
necessarytobleedthesystemifuidischangedorafter
workisperformedonthesystem.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineupontojackstands
highenoughtoraisethedrivewheelsofftheground.
4.Starttheengineandmovethethrottlecontroltoidle
position.
Ifthedrivewheeldoesnotrotate,itispossibleto
assistthepurgingofthesystembycarefullyrotating
thetireintheforwarddirection.
5.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelasitdropsadduid
asrequiredtomaintaintheproperlevel.
6.Repeatthisprocedurefortheoppositewheel.
7.Thoroughlycleantheareaaroundeachofthecharge
pumphousings.
