InstallingtheKit
1.Parkthemachineonlevelground.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,and
removethekeybeforemakingadjustmentstothe
machine.
DANGER
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
3.Removethe2existingscrewsandwashersfromthe
controlpanelasshowninFigure1.
4.Usingthe2existingscrewsandwashers,mountthe
slope-indicatorbrackettothetopoftheconsoleas
showninFigure1.
5.Looselymounttheslopeindicatortothebracketwith
2bolts,4washers,and2locknutsasshowninFigure1.
6.Adjusttheslopeindicatorto0degreesandtightenthe
boltstosecuretheslopeindicatortothebracket.
Important:Donotovertightenthefasteners,or
youcoulddamagetheslopeindicator.
7.Afxtheappropriatesupplieddecaltotheslope
indicator,sothatthedecalontheslopeindicatorshows
thesameindicatedmaximumangleasthedecaltted
tothelidofthestoragepodonthemachine.
DANGER
Operatingthemachineonsteephillscouldresultin
arolloverandcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
Donotoperatethemachineonsidehillssteeper
thantheangleindicatedontheappropriatesafety
decal.
