Why Toro Lawn Mower cutting unit will not cut?

If the cutting unit on your Toro Lawn Mower isn't cutting or is cutting poorly, several factors could be the cause: * Dull blades: Sharpen the blades. * Bent or damaged blades: Replace the blades. * Loose spindle bolts: Torque the spindle bolts to 115 to 149 N-m (85 to 110 ft-lb). * Loose or broken cutting unit belts: Tighten or replace the belts as necessary. * Loose gear box pulley: Tighten or replace the pulley. * Broken gear box shaft: Replace any broken shafts. * Broken PTO belt: Replace the PTO belt. * Loose or broken PTO pulley: Tighten or replace the pulley. * Broken PTO shaft: Replace the PTO shaft. * Loose or broken pulley on the engine output shaft: Tighten or replace the pulley.
