2capscrews(7/16x3inches),atwashers(7/16
inches),andangenuts(7/16inches).Positionthe
atwasherstotheoutsideofthecastorarm.
6.Tightenthelargejamnutsecuringtheballjointto
thepusharm(
Figure6).Whentighteningthejam
nut,holdtheballjointstraighttopermitproper
oscillationduringraisingandloweringofthecutting
unit.Carefullyremovethewoodblockholdingthe
pusharmdown.

duringthisprocedure.
1.Removethe2capscrews,atwashers,andange
nutssecuringtheleft-handballjointmountand
chainbrackettotheleft-handcastorarm(
Figure7).
Removetheballjointmountandchainbracket.
2.Removethecotterpinandcastlenutsecuringthe
left-handballjointmounttotheleft-handpusharm
onthetractionunit.Installtheballjointmount
(removedfromthecastorarm)tothepusharmwith
thecastlenutandcotterpinpreviouslyremoved
(
Figure7).
3.Measurethedistancefromtheendoftheleft-hand
pusharmtothecenteroftheballjoint(grease
tting)(Figure7).Thedistanceshouldbe2-1/2
inches(64mm).Ifthedistanceisnot2-1/2inches
(64mm),loosenthejamnutsecuringtheballjointto
thepusharmandrotatetheballjointinoroutuntil
thedistanceisattained(Figure7).Donottighten
thejamnutatthistime.
